Words Of Power

Mystical poem written 6-12-25. Hymn To The Divine 17.

1.
I am awash,
Breaking like a wave against You,
Edges collapsing to make new curves,
Where peaks and valleys collide

I am crashing,
Into the purple seas,
That dot the eye,
At the center of Your universe

I am dreaming,
Caught in-between,
Becoming and bewitching,
Warm like a lover’s embrace

I am dying,
Left alone in the storm,
Forced to find You over and over,
Begging yet again to Serve

Expansive and encouraging,
Explosive and enticing,
You left me a trail,
Of words and dreams

You led me step by step,
By step by step,
Until I was too far gone,
To care anymore

You were my first love,
My mother and my father,
My hero and my villain,
Everything I ever wanted to be

I trusted You,
Pursued You,
I gave up so much,
Begging only to Suffer

3.
Then pain swallowed my life,
Every path that was promised,
Eaten away,
Like my spine

Years spent learning what suffering,
Is really all about,
A blinding white fire,
That burned my futures away

Years spent losing it all,
Moment by moment,
Until I could rediscover myself,
In Your mysteries

I came to know,
My only way forward,
The only way to burn brightly,
Was to swear myself to Love
