Mystical poem and announcement of sorts. Written, as always, without authority.

1. The Alien looks around, And finds the world wanting, So few are serious, So few want to play The descendants, Of my teacher’s teachers, Falter and find, Excuses to fail But I have been instructed, By my afflictions, And it seems, I really have no choice So here it comes, That anticlimax, That moment where I cough, And clear my throat No one really asked, And no one’s really listening, But sprinkle water and light the incense, I’m ready to kick the can 2. The Alien Is Zero, When we split infinity, And sit right in the middle, Staring out both sides of our heads The Alien Is Two, Meeting the Other, Witness to witness, I to Thou The Alien Is Three, A bed atop a pillar, Atop a lonesome pyramid, At the Forest’s edge The Alien Is One, When we try to understand, What it must be like, To bear that burden The Alien Is Five, Rippling into becoming, A period of darkness, As we say our last goodbyes 3. So there you have it, My contribution, To the conversation, Up to now My plan for planning, A coup attempt, On the banal reality, Of the Real The Alien is always alone, Even within the maddening crowd, A stranger in a stranger land, Reading every Word in translation The Alien is always ready, To reach out and hold hands, With other strangers, Across any distance The Alien is here, Watching everything, Ready to heal the family, And find our way to tomorrow
COMMENTARY:
Ζένη is the feminine form of the Greek word ζένος, commonly written in English as Xeno, meaning “stranger” or “alien”.
Ζένη = 70 by isopsephy (Greek gematria).
The Xeno Position is the original position of my work on philosophy of magick. In this position, one takes on the mental role of the Alien, a being from another plane of existence, who has suddenly found themselves with no memories and in the body of an adult human. The philosopher of magick is then invited to engage with the situation of existing, being a person, and dealing with other people from the point of view of the Alien, not in an attempt to gain some sort of unattainable “God’s-eye view from nowhere that sees everything”, but in an attempt to center the basic phenomenological experiences of ignorance, doubt, uncanniness, and loneliness at the root of the human experience. It is from this basic combination of phenomenological high weirdness and the existential need for connection that the Xeno Position arises to say to the world: “Hello, I am a stranger here and I would like to get to know you.”
0=2 is an ontotheological formula within the mystical and magickal tradition of Thelema.

I like building a myth with the alien as the protagonist. I like the layers of meaning in alien. I have felt like an alien since I was about 3.
Same.
