Mystical poem written 6-26-25. All The Gods Are Tragic Cycle 2.

1. Poets and prophets sing, That eternal refrain, Echoing like Echo, Throughout the mountains “All the gods are family” Merely human, We play games with words, And weave explanations, All to deny “That family is broken” 2. Folding in, And spinning out, Running a maze, To tie it all together “Follow this thread” Ariadne sits, Left to wait forever, While the story goes on, Without her “I would do it again” 3. Silliness and symbols, The play of potency, And sighing regret, Kelmis in iron sighs “All the gods are tragic” I write new words, To old music, And while everyone claps, Orpheus whispers “Don’t look back”
