Finding her footing,
“I have become”,
Is the constant refrain,
Of the tender godling
This mistress born,
Of past and present,
Plans her campaign,
And marshals her forces
To reach ahead,
And to reach behind,
To tell the children,
A different story
To allow us all,
To walk free and strong,
Powerful and proud,
In the coming Dawn
