Mystical poem dedicated to Persephone. Written 9-10-24.

1. Imagination, Is the beginning, Of our knowledge, Of our motion Into the Mystery, I turn and twist, Dance and spin, Open and empty Waiting for You, To take my hand, To fill me up, To walk with me Into that hallowed, And sacred, Labyrinth, Beyond myself 2. I walk away, Into the darkness, Where I cannot see, Alone and expanded Pale and kohl-eyed, I meet You in the dust, The silent spaces, Among the tombs Where once I found, Fear and trembling, Now I find comfort, In the long shadows Thus I sing of You, In the in-betweens, The way You walk Between the worlds 3. Oh blessed Kore, Daughter and Queen, Bring us all, Through darkness and light Bridging night and day, The cold of winter, And the brazen warmth, Of the summer Sun Hold us, dear goddess, Blessed darkling darling, Of the divine Mother, And the open grave Lead us through, The changes that come, When we join You, In Your journey
