Mystical poem written May 4, 2026.

1.
Once there was a time,
When it all glanced off me,
But that was long ago,
Now every wound that I bear,
Lays me low
I can’t pretend,
To be good,
For one minute more,
My body, heart, and mind,
Keep the score
2.
Don’t look up towards,
Your dreams of heroes,
This fight won’t be won,
With words alone
3.
I am here to bring,
What no one wants,
But everyone will use,
Warfare and terrible weapons,
Old and new
So see the past,
Left behind,
Abandoned parts of me,
Put to death for holding back,
Who I am meant to be
